Tattered and timeworn treasures of the heart....

Hello to all my wonderful new friends!
I was excited to come home today from work and find that
I had made lots of new friends in blogland!!!
I told my husband how excited I was, but, he just kind of looked at me like "Huh, what??"
Oh well, that's men for you, but all you girls know exactly what I mean.

I also want to send a special thanks to Dawn, at the Feathered Nest for posting a link to my blog! I am hoping this is just the jumpstart I needed.
Thank you again sweetie...you are a special inspiration to me!

I thought Tuesday would be a good day to share some more fabulous vintage images with you. I haven't had much time to do anything else....
so, please enjoy!!!

These are from "The Farmers' Manual" dated 1897

aren't these neat?

Here are some adorable vintage photographs of children....
Aren't they just too cute???

These images are from a late 1800's children's book called Chatterbox.

And one in black and white.....

Looking forward to seeing you all again! Take care and rest well my friends!

Hugs~Chris
